When I didn't have a laptop yet, in order to communicate via Skype with video, I needed a portable web camera, which I had to buy, and for me it was a very inconvenient thing, because it was difficult for me to set it up then, because I was not yet well versed in computers. also they gave a very bad picture. Now even my laptop has a camera that is no bigger than a little fingernail and gives better quality than a 5x5 cm webcam back then.
