Have you ever hired an employee to a higher position?

Have you ever hired an employee of yours to a higher position? Maybe it was because they did great work in the previous job and wanted to give them a better position or a new title. I can't say I have, but if I ran my own business and had employees, I would for sure give them new jobs depending on their talents. What about you?
I will also promote them to higher positions but they need to be successful in their current positions, hard working, on time and with discipline because promotions need some rules.

of course becoming successful and effective in their current position is a prerequisite for you to promote them to a higher position. That is actually what so many other businesses around the world does.

Of course, you can just promote workers to higher position without see some qualities in them. It's only workers that are dedicated, committed and hard-working that deserves promotion.

I think i understand what you are trying to say here. Like they always say, if you cannot manage the little you have, you may not be able to manage the big ones. They have to prove their capabilities first before promotion.

You are right, promoting employees should be according to their abilities, hard work and experience, employees should be promoted because they are the building blocks of the company.

I have never done that before. Mostly it will depend on that person's talent and ability to handle the required responsibility that will determine the position I will give to them.
If someone has done perfectly in the previous job or anything we did together in the past and I'm sure of the person being capable of handling a better position I can give it to them.

Probably, people that have more talents and knowledge should be promoted to a higher level in the business venture. They will probably help to enhance the business to a higher level.
Yeah, skilled people have so much to give to the business. Their promotion does so much good to the company. This is because their skills turn out to be productive and their experience in business gives them a upper hand in problem solving.

Due to the fact that i don't have any business of my own at the moment, but it happens to be that i have my own business, i can hire a hardworking employee so as the business will move as expected.

Yeah, businesses always try as much as possible to promote those who add something to their growth. Talented people are always retained even when there is mass layoff of workers.

Actually hiring an employee to a budget position is not a bad thing but it's done for a purpose and with a reason. sometimes due to the fact that you as an individual can not be able to handle the position.

Hardworking, diligent and talented workers are to be encourage in any organization. One of the ways of encouraging talented workers is by timely promotion.

If I know someone that has an impressive track record, I would not mind but to go ahead and hire such individual to fill up the position that I need him or her for.

Yes, if such people are not promoted they can leave the company and find another job. But whenever they are promoted they will be happy to be in the business and of course take it to the next level.

I think that many such kind of companies also offer such kind of promotion. The structure of promotion may differ from one company to another. It all depends on how huge an organisation is.
I think there might be a truth in that actually because different companies would have different ways they operate band also with their policies but I was speaking about the majority though.

promotions of workers that are hardworking and dedicated is something every organization tends to do but would you be willing to promote someone above you.

I don't even think it is possible for you to promote someone above you. It is only people who are above that have the rights to promote the lower people to a higher rank. That is actually how it works in any business organisations.

Actually there are some business circumstances that you can not dealt with at the best time it's needed to be done so it's possible to employed someone who will be responsible for such task.

Definitely If you are an expertise I will hire you. I even love to have great workers in my business so that it can have quality future. A business achieve its production and managing process when hire a competent employee to hire level.

I believe that it is a good thing to reward your employees retire opportunities whenever there is vacancy. This is going to increase trust between you and them and make them to want to work harder.

Well, in many workplaces, politics make it impossible for many talented people to get promoted. Some people might be preferred or favoured over the others.
