Have you ever found hidden code in your own sites?

Has there ever been a time where you were checking the code for your site and you noticed code that didn't belong? I haven't had this happen to me, but I suspect that there are hackers and others who are able to get into a site and then add their own code. Has this sort of thing happened to you? If so, what did the code do?

i have not had such an experience before, of seeing hidden codes on my website as i do usually purchase hosting and domains from trusted providers like namecheap and bluehost as well.

For my 3 of managing my first website I didn't notice something like this. However, it's a possibility because my old website, which I have been abandoned, is not something a hacker try hard to hack as it has little or no value.

accept you buy your hosting from sources that are not too trusted, then you might definitely face this kind of problem as your site would be prone to attack from unknown sources.

it could be could that some former owner of the website kept and you inherited it from that person, and most time this code has a specific function as to why it was there.

it is not there fault in entirety, as some of them might not have coding knowledge and might have even bought the site from another users, so they are not sure if such is on their website.

Yes that's the fact about it, I think you're absolutely right by saying this, in as much as one wants to succeed in everything he is doing, first of all you have to learn before you start earning.

Well I don't have the understanding of creating account successfully on whichever platform that comes to websites. However there's a need for me to go for a personal training in other to learn very fast.

I don't do coding. I use website templates to create website, mainlycontent management systems like worpress or SMF, etc. I have no coding skills, therefore, I wouldn't find any codes even if ther were any hidden codes.
