I was scammed a few times back then, it was quite convincing and I was impulsive about making money fast.

But since then, I resolved to always be careful with online ponzi Investments and it has helped me to stay away from them.

I did everything the way it was expected of me to do and it being my first project, I have it my all but after delivering the package he suddenly went dark. He didn't complain neither did he reply my messages afterwards.

I think you should have actually made a complaint to the freelancing platform. They could have helped you solve the problem. Such experience is actually discouraging.

Actually I have twice been scammed while online even though it was through an online money making app which run away with my investment fund without payment of any kobo.

It wasn't from a freelancing platform that I got the client from. I think it was a random client from social media that requested for my services. And you're right, it was really very discouraging.

I have not fall for any scammer why working online, because I have a mentor,before I can do anything onIine I always inform him for any step I take on any online business.

This is another reason why it's good to have mentor when working online. A mentor will save you from falling to scam. People most time get scam online because they lack experience.

When working online we have to take the risks in working for people we may not have worked for before and that can often lead to worry of being scammed or in the worst case, actually being scammed working online. It's never nice to be on the receiving end of being scammed online, especially when you have already put in the work and the person you did the work for just doesn't pay you.

In the past, I have been scammed at least twice by people who asked me to complete a job for them and then ignored me after the job was complete and I never received payment at all for the job I had completed. These were not small jobs either, they were quite big jobs and I felt defeated after I had been ignored and not paid after putting in the work.

Have you ever been scammed online either as the seller or the buyer? What did you do when this happened and what approach did you take to prevent it from happening again?

Even since I was scammed myself as a seller I now always tend to ask for payment upfront before I complete the order if I can so that I do not run into the same issue again, unless, of course, I have done jobs for the person in the past in which case I don't mind them paying me after the completion as I know I can trust them.

The online space is a cesspool of scammers and fraudsters if I am being honest. This is why a lot of examination needs to be done into certain websites to truly ascertain their authenticity

You're definitely right about that. Most people have been scammed a lot of times on the online market and they lose all trust about making money online. That's more the reason why I made the decision not to invest in any random investment platform online.

That is actually discouraging. I think next time you should try as much as possible to get an escrow. That way you will not be scammed online again. Some people actually have a lot of scum tendencies

What I make use of right now is the necessity to pay an upfront before u start any work at all. I think by doing that I would be rest assured that I wouldn't be scammed.

Actually been scammed online is an understatement in my own case simply because I have been scammed time without numbers but I have never give up on it because I have been earning well.

When it comes to making resolve to stop working online I have made such resolve countless numbers of time but I have never kept to any of my resolves at all because I still believe on the online space.

A few people actually make a lot of money from those platforms. Especially those who are aware of the fact that they are scam and invest very early and take their profit.

Getting scammed is something that is highly likely to happen as we try to make some money online.

This is especially common at the early days of trying to make some money online, due to greed.
