Have you coded any successful software for web hosting?

Has anyone here coded their own successful software to help with web hosting and running a site? I think it'd be cool to have software coded just for my site or business. Does anyone do their own coding for such software? Any software that you made that worked for your site?

I do not have coding skills, therefore, I have never done any kind of coding. However, I have sometimes edited templates and added new codes so that I can make some changes to my website. When I do this, I normally watch videos and read articles. If you have limited knowledge, you can easily mess up the codes and your website will start showing errors.
