Harry Maguire, the former Manchester United captain, has grabbed the opportunity given to him with both hands. He has played well so far for Manchester United, with some saying that he deserves a starting spot in the team. What do you make of his performances this season? Does he deserve a permanent spot?

Harry Maguire was a big flop in Manchester United last season but as a Manchester United fan, I was very happy to see him pick up form after he was demoted from being the team captain.

Harry Maguire was a big flop in Manchester United last season but as a Manchester United fan, I was very happy to see him pick up form after he was demoted from being the team captain.

My observation was that being the teams captain was a big responsibility which added much pressure on him. When the captain's arm band was taken from him, he recovered his good playing form.
