Have anyone try free hosting site?

Lately I have been thinking about promoting the forum in Facebook.

I will also make some videos and share them on YouTube as well. So far, I haven't tried social media platforms to gain more members. I tried Google Adwords but it didn't work much. Well, I will try these tips to promote and if they don't work, I will open another website.
I think google adsword isnt too suitable for such type of promotion one thing i suggest you can try is using instagram for promotion like meet any Instagram page that have large followers and offer ads service you could get more audience through that means

I think free hosting is fine for those who are starting a project and are just getting their foot in the door. However I wouldn't use free hosting for a successful site though. Esentially you get "what you paid for", most free hosting sites only give you a limited amount of bandwidth to work with. Some free forum hosts even put basic features behind a pay wall too, which isn't right IMO.

I have recently signed up to Digitalocean and they allow 3 static hosting sites for free. I also signed up to netlify which also offers the free hosting of the static content. And they offer pretty good amount of the hosting data too, something for static site it is good enough I suppose. I think for other things I guess we can go for the paid hosting.

I wanted to host my custom domain site some weeks ago and i came across a site that offers free hosting to other site without paying a dime , i am quite scared of giving it a try because it looks suspicious to me , so i am asking if anyone have tried some thing like that, the site name is free hosting.io
First of all , if the project you're trying to host is not a high priority , try a web hosting but beware that the information will be leaked.
If you're using GitHub to host your project, contact me in PM For further info

I would not suggest nyone to juse free host. First of ll you will get a low bandwith and low diskspace, secondly, there is also no guarantee of uptime. Just when your site is growing, your site might go offline because you crossed the diskspace and bandwith limit

I would never go for free hosting unless you want to learn how to manage it as it will not allow you to handle your site according to you and may have ads code of hosting means you will lose your ads revenue too. Also no security and no back up.

even free stuff costs you things, even if it's not money, you'll suffer from lot of unprofessional events such as maintenance and lot of crashes, even a 1$ host would be lot better than any free host you can get

I did not know about free hosting until I launched my website with paid hosting. Since I already had paid hosting, I never botherd with free hosting. What if I had known about free hosting before I launched my website? I would have certainly givwn a try.

I would never recommend free hosting unless you are on a very tight budget and the proposed site is really not important. There are a lot of problems associated with free hosting and I am not sure how you would cope in the long run. I would always advice starting up a blog with WordPress first and then build on that.

There are many free hosting services that are legitimate and are good enough if you can't afford paid hosting. However, I would recommend not using them if you're serious about your project especially if it is for a business. Free hosting sites are not always reliable and they are able to delete your site at any time. If you really do want to go with one, I would recommend using X10Hosting. Stay away from 000webhost, they are awful!

It is better to go for paid hosting because free hosting comes with a lot of baggage and you would never get a good value with a hosting that is not paid for. You should rather start your website with word press and later switch to a good web hosting provider like blue host.

A few years back I was planning to create another blog but this time it will not be on Blogger. I was looking for a free website but several that I have found were peppered with too much ads. That would be very inconvenient for the reader. When I changed direction for the free website to use it for affiliate marketing I saw GoDaddy with the ad that it is a free website. But I did not understand what some terms meant that it made me believe that it was not really free at all.

Yes, and even right now I have a blog hosted on a free hosting website.

It is quite frustrating sometimes because my site use to be unreachable at times, and also go slow when I experience some huge traffic.

But in either way, is good to start with if u have low budget or have no money.

I will never ever recommend free hosting to anyone.
Usually the service is bad and if your website is getting more traffic, then they will temporarily shut it down. It's just terrible. It's better to go with a paid hosting. As for usually free hosting services like wordpress.com or icyboards etc., you don't have to worry about the downtime too much.

So far, webs.com and 000webhost made me look for paid hosting. I will never recommend those two to anyone.

It hurts when they shut down one's website when they notice that the site is getting tons of traffic. For what really will they do that? This is something that I don't know because it will give them a bad name and make users run away from using their free hosting services.

I have not tried a free hosting or a free domain. However, I am interested in trying free hosting and free domain. I would like to learn website creation and website management before I spend money on domain and hosting.

I do not think there are websites that gives free hosting account because it cost a lot to set up hosting company. You can only have cheap hosting account per month which are sometimes in cent or a dollar. If you are serious about your online business nothing should stop you from get a reliable hosting account.

Well, where I was at, it was too difficult to do the free SSL encryption so I decided to move it to another hosting - that was at the least very affordable. Well, before SSL stuff I would say the free host would have been a great idea - as it was even unlimited bandwidth and disk space.

@Ehizzy1 don't be deceived with the word "FREE" because you will end up frustrated by the type of service the hosting company will provide when you have issues on the site. I once tried it, but the most annoying of it all is all limited services that comes with the so called free hosting.

I think before even using the free hosting you should know that the service is not going to be 100% intact ,because most free hosting are very ineffective and not durable , so you cant use them for a popular domain with more visitors

No, I have not. Perhaps this is because I have not brought any project to completion. As time goes by, certainly, I will be able to get sources of free hosting sites where I can publish my projects.
