Has anyone stolen your site from you?

Have you ever had a site stolen from you? I guess it happens when an owner trusts the wrong people and they are given access/passwords. It's a betrayal that is unexpected and probably hard to recover from.

Well, if I were to create a site, I would not partner anyone else until or unless I am sure that the person with whom I am partnering with is actually a trustworthy person. This is the initial step to creating a successful website.

No one has ever stolen my site from me yet, i don't think it will be nice to face that kind of a situation, that why you have to keep everything you are doing protected, to avoid such stories.

Actually I have not built a site of my own so no such experience has been made but I believe some might have had such experience due to how online stuffs have not been a guarantee.

No never I had no issue like this but I know someone who used to make $xxxx a week lost his website to his content creator and it takes sometime to recover it but lost huge income from it.

I have not revealed my password to anyone else aside my elder brother. I've not had the cause to lose my website for any reason before and I did not want to have such experience because it's going to be very bad.

Using of updated security patches and very verified hosting service is one of the ways that you can avoid things like this. Hackers are beginning to become much more wiser than they used to be.

I believed that most of the web hosting services would send you update on security of your website. It is very important to always update the security features of the website so as to avoid it from being stolen by the hackers.

I have heard different pathetic stories of website been stolen from their owners. I have not had this experience because I do not have a website yet, but I intend to protect my website if I have one.

Many people also install a plugin on their website that disables people to use the right click button on their website. This is done to prevent content theft and I think that this is a good technique to stop plagiarism.

I've not experienced such before though but I've heard of stories of people who actually trusted their websites to individuals they don't know to help them manage it who later deprive them of having access to the site back

Well, this is sad to see. I do not think that this is ethical or even legal. Why would anyone do this? Having said that, I have never seen anyone doing this. I guess that now even websites should have a proper legal documentation process as well?

Yes I agree with your points even though such cases happens most times on websites that is still growing and coming up, which has little or no documentation.

This is actually a very irresponsible thing for you somebody to do but then you have to put in extra security measures because hachers are beginning to become more creative.

It is one of the ways to avoid plagiarized content flooding the internet. The dangerous part is that it is not really good for you to publish plagiarised content because it will not help your website. You could get information from good sources but you can as well read and assimilate and then give it you thought.

The hackers are really something else. They are bent on taking over what does not belong to them and that is why it is very important to keep our password save and it must be kept in a secured manner. You should ensure that is not accessible to anyone apart from you.

I have not been a website manager before but I have heard stories of people who have fallen victims of that. I dont know how it happened though. most of them complain there password has not been revealed to anyone before and I wonder.

There are many ways hackers could make use of your computer. They do not necessarily need to hack your computer and steal information. They can install unwanted mining software and use your computer power to mine cryptocurrencies.

You are absolutely right there are so many malwares online and that is why it is very necessary for you not to install any application from an unknown sources because the malware would spy on your information.
