Has an employee ever retaliated for being fired?

I have always condemned violence of all sorts. This is why I think that violence is never an option. There is absolutely no reason for an employee to retaliate if he has been fired. If you think that you have been fired unjustly, then you can always take the help of law rather than taking the law in your own hands.

This is the reason why I don't support violence too. If things get to the point where it's no longer working well for you and if the company no longer want your services, there's no need to start being violent about it. You can always be employed by another company that wants your services.

The best thing to do is to walk away peacefully when a company decide they do not want your services any longer instead of resorting to violence and fighting. They could get you arrested and prosecuted for the offense..

For the fact that no one was born into this life with the declaration he or she must be in any specific job is more reason enough that you shouldn't fuss over being sacked from any job. If they don't want a dialogue to understand why they really sacked you, leave the job with your dignity intact.

It is always wrong to fight over what it is not yours in the first place. If the downsizing and your job is affected or you were relived of your job due to certain reason, accept it in good faith and move on..

Yeah, that's very correct. Even if the company sacked you in a wrong manner. There are better ways to approach the situation. If you failed to have them talk to you and understand they did you wrong, there's always court to run to and sue them officially. When they get their sue order, they will either call for a settlement or drag it out in the court.

There are many legal ways of solving this issue. An employee could sue the employer for firing the employee in an unfair manner. However, the problem is the fact that such laws are not implemented in the best manner in many countries. This is why many employee take the law in their own hands.

There was a time when they used to say that the judiciary is the last hope of a common man but unfortunately this is a principle that is not observe right now. This is because the court is now being influenced and bought by money which gives the rich an unprecedented advantage over the common man.

Employee rights are often promoted in many places. However, I do not think that such kind of rights should be misused. This is why in case if an ex-employee violates the rules, then such kind of employee should not have any right to take "revenge" or retaliate in any way.

Has there ever been a time where you had to let go of an employee, or fire them, and they retaliated because of it? Maybe they did something to you, caused issues with your work, hit you, or damaged property you owned. I have never had to go through that, but I imagine many businesses deal with workers who were previously fired. Some people can't take it when getting fired.
I've never seen any employees attack their boss for firing them. If any employee should physically abuse his boss or damage the office properties, the staff will not only lose his job but might go to jail. There are offices which have security to remove such kind of employees from the work premises if they become violent.

An employer have rights to be protected and the same goes for employees too. Everyone one have a right to be protected but that doesn't give either of them the right to impede on other's right. An employee have the right to terminate his employee at any point on the job and the employee have no right to become violent about it.

Well, there are many places where employee rights are being violated and this is also one of the biggest reasons why I think that it is always much better to read reviews and do a proper research about the company before joining the company.

It is very unfortunate that this kind of thing is still happening in our society today because with the level that we have seen in age, this kind of thing shouldn't be happening but it is happening. So it is all up to the workers to stick with any company that abuses them in ways they cannot do anything or they can decide to resign and go away.

Well, I am actually concerned about foreigners working in different countries. They are quite dependent on their employers and in case if their employer turns out to be a bad person, then they (employees) would be in trouble. I believe that instead of retaliating, an employee should take a better approach. They must try their best to take legal action instead of taking laws in their own hands.

If my boss violated my rights in any slight way, I will follow the right channels to hold him responsible and make him pay for it. I would keep quiet only when it's not possible for me to persecute him through the law.

Employee rights may involve laws that protect the right of employees in many ways. I think that if an employee has been fired unfairly, then they may consult a lawyer for that. However, the fact remains that an employee should have a genuine reason in order to file a complaint.

You cannot file a complaint out of the blue, there will be a substantial actionable incident for you to file a complaint with. If it's something which can't be prosecuted, you're going to informed by the police it's not going anywhere.

I think that there should be a reason that may make your case much stronger. For example, if a boss is racist and if he fires a person in a really unfair manner, then under such circumstances, you can file a complaint against such kind of person and hopefully action will be taken against such kind of person. Filing a complaint against such kind of person is much better option rather than retaliating in other ways.

Verbal or physical retaliation will land you into further troubles without solving the problem you were in initially. It's why you have to avoid it to the best of your ability. If you have a strong case to built against your boss, use the law and get justice.

I agree with you on this. Trying to go physical on your superiors may end up having you in more troubles. So, why not find a way that you can sue them for different reasons? I can't even understand why any one in their right senses would want to act that funny with their boss because of a misunderstanding or any issue.

When you're a foreigner working in another country, you just have to be very careful with anything that you're doing. You might be working for a racist boss without knowing that he's just looking for an opportunity to use you and not pay but have you thrown to jail. They have lots of racist cops that support them. Even with your work permit, they will find a way to abuse you.
