Green Hosting

Do you feel environmentally friendly hosting makes a difference? How is that so? Do you use green hosting? What are some pros and cons of it?

Aspirationally perhaps, but the reality is that hosting isn't a particularly efficient gig - and the most efficient (environmentally speaking) folks are actually the likes of Amazon who have datacentres big enough to justify making them environmentally friendlier because it makes them cheaper to run too.

I use green hosting and I think it makes a difference. However, I can't change the world. I mean, I use social media a lot and I'm sure it's not environmentally friendly. I guess you got to try to do what you can.
