Government jobs the best jobs to land?

I'm curious, are government jobs the best jobs to land? I doubt they are myself, as I couldn't see the government paying you a lot. I see them paying enough, but certainly not enough. I could have gotten a job at a local post office years ago, but it required certain training and I think they were really strict about cannabis use, so I never applied.

Anyway, I hear government jobs are great, because most of them have benefits and health care included. I wouldn't mind those options honestly.
