Government job versus private job?

I think government job is better than the private job because private job is temporary you make a good employee you work also hard but income not profitable to the fannacial management but government job is permanent and you also hard working making grading and scale pension income after retirement finnaicial management is better from the government job

I really won't be thinking of working in one because of a benefit it provides that the other does not. Although the governmental jobs or government sectors will offer pensions when you retire, it is not certain and only becomes only a fairy tale overtime. Government jobs has some advantages over private jobs and vice vaser. It depends on what you love and what you stand to benefit from either of them. Considering the benefits from government work such as gratuity and pension, I will definitely go for government work. Secondly, there is less strict condition in government work as compared to private work. Both have both type of jobs have their own benefits and disadvantages in government job mostly the income is not too good but you are confident about your job and when you will retire they will give you pension but on the other hand private jobs are giving so much income or salary but they are not giving pension.

I think I'd prefer working in the government sector because there isn't a tight lease on staffs and in turn you can focus on other ventures . Private sectors are quite unpredictable and are very strict ,but they pay better . I'd still pick the government sector over the private sector.

Agree with you. Working in private sector pays a competitive salary compared to working in goverment sector according to some of my collegues. But goverment sector has many advantages like, it is more secured and youre surely updated on any changes or new updates that will come in a goverment policies

There is no way you can compare government job with a private job. The government job is far better than the private job in the sense that it is reliable, easy to do and gives you peace of mind among other things. We cannot deny the fact that some private organization are paying more than the government but such kind of job does not always have job security. Government jobs anytime, any day. Job security is the major benefit of this kind of job. Hardly do they downsize. You don't wake up on morning to realise that you have been sacked out of the blue. Good pension plan too.

Working in government sector is a better way . Personally I Will in a government sector because it give many facilities . It also have many advantages . On other hand private sector give low numbers of facilities to his employer. So i think government sector is batter than private sector.

Government sector may provide less salary compared to private sector,but they have better benefits. Increments for government jobs are standardized, whereas the private sector are pretty much annual or in some companies half years. Both private and government jobs have their own pros and cons, it depends on your choice

Private Jobs are quite easy to achieve, as you can appear in any interview, either they select you or not and will announce the result very soon, on the other hand in Govt. job, first you have to be appear in written exam, then wait for the result, then merit list, then interview, it's result and then joining latter.

I think the one I will obviously prefer to work is a private company if I understand that the private company I'm working for is my own but if the private company is someone else company I might not consider to work for them I would rather choose to work for government.

In my home country, there is a great attraction for government jobs. That's because government jobs offer better salaries than private jobs. Government jobs also offer incentives such as provident funds and pension plans. Once you pass the probation period, no one can fire you from government jobs (unless you are involved in scams), until you retire in 20 years. sadly, I was rejected a couple of times.
