Exactly 20 years ago today, Gmail email was created. This is one of the free email services provided by Google. Provides access to mailboxes through the Gmail website and app. More In October 2012, the Gmail service became the most popular in the world 🌎 and took the first respectable place🥇.
On April 1, 2005 (Exactly one year after its creation), the mailbox size was increased from 1 to 2 GB, and since then this number has been constantly growing.
Google's 23rd employee, Paul Buckheit, began working on the new Gmail email service in the summer ⛱️ of 2001.

Interesting fact: On January 29, 2019, Gmail experienced a global outage.

In our era of digital gadgets/devices 📱💻🖥️ and the Internet, you will have virtually nothing to do on the Internet without your own email. Without it, you won’t be able, for example, to register on websites, get a job/institute, and so on... We conclude that - E-mail is like having your own personal mobile phone/number or passport, it’s so important too.

Fun fact: Without Gmail, you wouldn't be able to sign up for Bizdustry. 😆

As of 2024, Gmail has over 1.8 billion active users worldwide. 👥
On Google play, the Gmail app has 10 billion downloads!⬇️
More than 70 million visits 🗣️to the Gmail page per month.
By the way, due to the fact that Gmail was founded on April 1 and this day coincided with April Fool's Day, many people thought that this was an April Fool's prank from Google because the corporation often joked about its users on this day. But this did not turn out to be a joke at all.

According to statistics, users from India🇮🇳 and Indonesia🇮🇩 use Gmail the most 82.5% and have accounts more than other people from other countries of the world.🌎

Let's congratulate Gmail on its twenty year anniversary. 🎂🎁🎈🎉View attachment 6945
