How do you go about promoting your sites on forums? What sort of things do you abide by?

I think the best promotion method is to keep your sites in your signature, reply to topics you know a lot about, be respectful on the forum and people will start being interested in the sites you own.

I think the best promotion method is to keep your sites in your signature, reply to topics you know a lot about, be respectful on the forum and people will start being interested in the sites you own.

I think thats the only efficient method unless you're offering something very unique.
