Forum Posting! Good for Traffic or not?

Guys, I have a forum discussion board about online shoppings and all things about this staff.
The reason for my request is that I need some advices on traffic increase. erm... one of my friends recommended me paidforumposting.com services. still not sure to trust them or not.
Is forum posting helpful in terms of getting more traffic? What can you say about their writers?

Forum commenting ans posting is great for your traffic and website, but only if you comments hold value and the best way to do it is to do it yourself.

I've not tried PaidForumPosting.com, specifically, but I think paid writers can be a help, depending on what you want. Well, in one situation you might need just general posters. They would be great for a general discussion forum or perhaps for a non-specialist take on things (for a niche forum). However, though, if you have a niche forum, you might want some or all of your posters to be specialized. In that case, using a paid service could be disappointing - because you can't be sure that any of them are specialized. Note, what I do is hire mostly non-specialized posters via a service, but try to hire a few specialized ones on the side (outside a posting company). That way the forum seems to be a natural blend of amateurs and professionals.

Ofcourse , the forum sites would definitely help you drive significant traffic to your website. Once your content are engaging, there will be many leads for your website and the visitors will keep coming back.
