Forum Owner Expectations?

As a regular member, what your expectations from the forum owner?

What should he/she be doing? What are his/her roles and responsibilities?

fresh new topics, always active as well involving him/herself in the community as well.

Also, listening to the members and improving the forum and not disregarding their feedback, or suggestions!

As a member, I always want to see the forum owner log in daily and be active. I want him/her to show that the site is important to him/her.

I expect a forum owner to keep the forum software maintained, keep the hosting services and domain names paid for. I also expect them to be an integral part of the community. They don't necessarily have to be the most active person on the forum but they do need to maintain a presence. They should also be fair and friendly.

When I am a member and an active member on a forum, I always like to see the owner of the forum active, bringing in fresh new content for engagement and activity and also making it known they are active and are passionate about the forum that they run.
