For what amount of profit will you give up your job?

I frequently ask myself this kind of inquiry because I'm not sure what my ultimate objective is. Although I have broad ideas, I haven't yet figured out how much will specifically prevent me from working. I've been investing my earnings for almost five years now, so I never have any profit left over and must keep working to meet my expenses. But I believe that I will be able to cease reinvesting the profit and use it for myself and my needs as soon as my portfolio's value exceeds $50,000.

I cannot complete depend on investment and give up my job even when I am making a lot of profits through my investment. What would I do through out a day when I am not working.
