For a new business, is it adviseeable to employ family and friends?

It is not that allowing your family members to work with you is totally bad but caution must be taken on the position we place them except you really trust such person. When a family member disappointed you, it is always difficult to deal with them because of the family ties that exists between you.

Well since it is very difficult for us to put some of our family members in their place when they misbehave, I think it is not actually the best for us to put them in our business because of that family relationship.

I would employ family and friends for a business I'm just starting if there is no way around it. It is not easy to say no to a family but a friend may understand. But it will be base on a contract agreement and I can sack anytime.

I wouldn't advise a new business owner to employ family and friends.... In most cases they don't take the work serious because of overfamiliarity and when you caution them they will say you are too bossy and all other sorts of nonsense..... if possible please keep them away from your business till it grows to a certain level

It is not advisable to employ family members in the new business because they will run down the business they will not adhere to the rules and regulation of the business because they will always have in mind that it is their brother all there and see that owns the business.
