By fast posters, I mean those members that sign up to a community and instantly recognise who is the top poster on the community itself so that they can post ALOT to beat that member. Yes, I mean those people who post like 100 + times a day with their low quality posts.

Personally, whilst it is funny to see, it really does annoy me.

You'd have to post thousands just to try to get even close.

I think this is one of the dangers of relying on a user's post count; yes, it's one signal but are the posts useful, informative, or helpful?

Frankly speaking, I have created 100 posts on a single forum in a single day. However, when I posted, I also cared about the quality. Posting fast does not always mean low quality. I have been a member on a couple of paid to post forums and on this forums I used to make a lot of posts to earn better. However, I do believe that when someone is posting pretty fast, they might lack quality.

I'm kind of a fast poster myself.

However, I don't post to get on the leaderboard or spam. I just get into a community. Sometimes, the community turns out to be one that doesn't like people posting a lot. I'll usually lose interest in it after that.

However, I do try to post quality content.

I like to be known for that in all honesty. Hopefully I am, lol.

Where did you come from @Shawn Gossman . When I wrote the above, I was so tempted to add " you should ask shawn " ;)
I vanished for a while.

Changed careers. Back to forums and hope to stay but I'll leave admin forums to the pros like Admin Junkies haha

Nice to see you again old friend!
