Family Reunions?

My husband's family has a yearly family reunion and we used to attend until we moved far away. I'm hoping to some day get back to the area to see the family again. I miss the water balloon toss contest! And then the water balloon fight afterward. Sneaky cousins would put theirs in a cooler with ice to make them COLD!

My own family has reunions but I avoid them!

Does your family do reunions? If so, what's your favorite part? What activities do you do? What's the best food to eat at them?

That makes the two of us. I usually avoid them, because sometimes they usually end in chaos. But sometimes they are awesome with loads of fun. Our next meet up is scheduled for April (around the Easter weekend).

We've had several family reunions during thanksgiving on my mothers side and around Christmas on my dads side. However times may be changing because my grandmother on my mothers side just recently died. It's quite sad and I know that she's in Heaven. I honestly wish that I could bring her back but wherever she's at I know she's happy.
