Have you ever exchanged banners or links with another site? How did that form of promotion work out for you?

I know of at least one person who clicked the "blogging tips" link on WebGurubb and loved the articles they read there when I promoted the forum on AdsLotto.com. JLogan

Yes, I've exchanged links but I don't think I have ever exchanged banners. I rarely got traffic from the link exchanges I've done though

I used to do this with my first ever wesbite, obscurant1st.biz and I did get quite a few visits too!

i exchange or buy and sell links. it can only be positive, theres some links on your site, you get some traffic and reach people you may never have. i like long term exchanges

I've exchanged links with a few sites; barely any traffic though.
