Ever utilize Reddit for any marketing needs?

Do you ever utilize Reddit for any marketing needs? I know it's hard to market on Reddit, because they have a lot of strict rules about promoting or advertising. I think they have options for paid promotion, but I never used that option.

I have utilized Reddit for marketing, however, after I found that post of my postsers were removed, I stopped promoting on Reddit. In order to market on Reddit and benefit from marketing, you first need to build your Karma points. Reddit is not a place to drop links.
