Ever have to reach out to Google support?

Was there ever a time where you had to reach out to Google support for any reason? I got locked out of one of my old personal gmail accounts a couple years ago, and I tried to reach out to Google support and they were unable to help. I had info for my account, but I guess since my ISP changed my IP address years ago, my email I guess was tied to that one and I was for some reason unable to sign into that account again. Lets just say that Google support sucks.

Have you ever had to deal with Google support before? Did they help?

Do you lose access to your files stored in Google Drive? I primarily use Google Drive for my backups and I also linked my phone number to my Google account so if anything happens I can use my phone number to reset my password, I have also 2-factor authentication turned on.
