Have you ever sworn while on the job and got in trouble from a superior because of it? I swear all the time, but if I am in a workplace environment the swearing is at an all time minimum. I only swear to people I know who can accept it. I won't swear near a boss or higher up either. Unless the boss is chill and is cool with banter like that. Have you ever had a boss who was cool with you swearing often? Or did they not allow it?

I do not use bad language. So, I have never had to deal with such kind of issue. I think that many employees should consider behaving well and this is a quite important thing. They have to avoid suing such kind of language when possible. Otherwise, they may be responsible for their own actions.

At the office, everyone swears. The only time it is not allowed is swearing around or to clients. Most days, people are dropping f bombs all over the place. lol

I remember when I used to work in public when I got a summer job before I started college. I never used to swear on the job as I never saw that as professional but I remember some people did swear, not a lot but there were some words said from time to time.

I will admit I do swear from time to time but when it comes to a workplace, I tend to act more professional.

I've never gotten into trouble due to swearing. I always keep it professional no matter how simple my boss appears to be. I feel swearing can be a way of distracting someone too.

It is all about controlling your anger, especially if you are working as a customer service representative. You may find many customers who may be really annoying. However, in the end you have to control yourself. This has been the case with many people, including me. I used to deal with very rude customers, unfortunately.

I mind my business at my workplace and don't do much in terms of trying to pokenose into another person job functions. So, getting in a situation where I will have to swear can not even arise at all with me at the workplace.

I am not a person who swears a lot, in fact I don't even swear (I admit, I swear in private when I am too frustrated or angry). Therefore, I have never sworn and never been in a position where I wasin trouble for swearing. However, I once worked for a company and one of the bosses used to sweat a lot. Because of his nature, I never dealt with this guy and always consulted other bosses.

I also tried my level best when I was working in a company. The fact remains that my nature of job never allowed me to interact with other co-workers, so swearing at them was something that never happened. On the other hand, many workers in our organisation used to face abuse and hear bad language from the customer's side. This was quite horrible.

I have never gotten into any problem for swearing on a job and even if I did swear on the job that I am doing, it is going to be very difficult for anyone to hear it because I have my own working space where I am the only person that is staying there. Unless another person comes to do something in my office, no one will hear it. So, even if I swear there, my supervisor is not going to hear it.

I am not sure if a person would swear at others without any reason. I have recently seen a person swearing at the bank officer. The bank officer swore back at him because that customer crossed all the limits initially. So, there are times when you may never get in trouble for swearing at others.

As long as a customer didn't physically abused you, I don't think you are supposed to get into exchange of words with that customer. This is because in most cases, the management is always going to side a customer because they are interested in getting the customers money all the time.

Well, I visited a bank a few days ago. The customer in there had a very heated argument with the bank officer. I was watching all that. The customer started using really bad language in the public debate and they both were about to brawl. So, things could escalate quite quickly when such kind of people like that particular customer start using bad language in public places.

They day's stress on a job can make you lose it when another colleague is making life miserable. It's not easy working for hours under pressure to have only 60 minutes off as break time.

The simple truth is that there are some customers who can be very difficult to manage especially when they are full of themselves. In this kind of situation, what is expected of an employee to do is to try and report to the management or call the security to take care of that particular customer but never get involved verbally or physically with that customer.

This is true. An employee should know where their right stops and shouldn't be getting involved in handling an issue that doesn't concern them much. If a client or customer is moving mad, the best bet is to tell the management about it.

There are many jobs where a person may realise that they may face abusive behaviour from the customer or from the boss as well. However, they still choose to opt for that job. This is due to the fact that they have no other choice. Instead of swearing at others, they are the ones who usually face bad behaviour from the other side.

It is never going to be in your best interest to swear at a customer whenever you are working irrespective of what the customer have done. This is the reason why you have supervisor at your work place whom you can easily report whatever that is happening so that they will look into it and see how they're going to resolve the issue without you implicating yourself.
