Ever broken a record? Would you try to break one?

Was there ever a time where you were able to break a world record? It can be anything, from video games, to sports. I wish I had broken a record in my lifetime, but I doubt I would ever win one. And by record I don't mean a record to listen to music, I mean a world record, something hard to achieve usually.
