Ever been injured playing sports?

Have you ever been injured while playing a sport? Maybe it was professionally, or it was just a pickup game of basketball and you landed on your foot wrong. What kind of sports injuries have you had if any? I never got injured playing sports, but I've sprained my ankle just walking once, by stepping on it somehow. Fun times lol.

It was one of the reasons that I stopped playing football. I got injured playing as a defensive midfielder in one of those games we play on Sundays on the street, and it took time before I can be able to recover. When I did, it was too late to be selected for the trials happening around the community back then.

Football injury usually takes a longer period to heal if you fail to treat them properly. I was lucky and fortunate I never had any form of injury when I was engaged in soccer as a game.
Yeah, that's very correct. It's always going to be in your best interest to have any injury that you have whenever you're playing football very seriously because it needs to be taken care of properly. When an injury isn't looked after very well, there will be a reoccurrence.

There knocks that takes too long to heal. It just depends on what really happened. One of the football injuries that I happen to hate so much is grion and hamstring injury. I have had them twice. They are very painful.

I hate both grion and hamstring injury. They are very discomforting but it feels like hamstring is more painful. I've not played in a long time, without playing or training, I don't have to worry about getting injured.

You are definitely not going to feel okay whenever you are injured and I'm very sure it's the reason why most footballers get aggressive when ever they noticed another player having the intent of kicking them in a way they are going to be injured. They know how long they are going to be on the sidelines before they are going to recover from that injury and it's something that any professional athlete is not going to be interested in having.

I take it personally when it looks clear to me your intentions was to hurt me when we are playing. I will lose my cool and kick you. I don't mind getting red carded. It's a lesson for the player to never try such with me next time. I rather sit out 2 or 3 matches than be out for 4 months.

I can't count the number of times I had injury during sport, most expecially when playing Football and running Race for my school then.
There was this time I had injury and I couldn't play Football for about 6 year, it was quite a serious injury that I had to do surgery.

I've lost count of the amount of time I've got injured playing football. I started playing at a young age so, on several occasions, I came back from school with one minor injury or the other. I've been lucky enough not to sustain a very serious, life altering injury while playing football.

However, one injury that definitely affected me a lot happened at a national camp. When the tournament started I wasn't even in the first team. But then, after losing the first game the coach realized he was missing my specialist skills. He played me and we got results. While training for the semifinals I had a groin injury. That ruled me out the game and I watched in horror as we lost out on penalties. That was my most defining sports injury.

The last injury that I had when I was playing football was dislocating my ankle and it was the second time that I've dislocated the same ankle. This made it to be more painful than it was when I had the first dislocation. It was the last injury that have had and it was the last time that I played football till now.

I have been injured many time when playing football for my school or in my neighborhood but still after the injury is gone I get back on my feet and go to the field again i do like football alot no matter how injured I'm

Well, it actually depends on the kind of injury that you had which is going to make it possible for you to get back to playing football immediately after you've healed. There is an injury that will put you out of commission when it comes to playing football for a very long time.

Football is an injury prone sports because it a sports which needs your full cardio in order for you to play. If your cardio strength isn't built up to be strong, you will pass out playing football. It's why players get hurt often when they play.

I've lost count of how many injuries I've sustained playing football. When I was little, we play barefooted. Several days I go back home dripping blood from at least three cuts on my body.

I've had serious injuries that kept me out of the football pitch for a month. And I've had mild ones too. The nail of one of my toes was once uprooted during a football match. And I nearly broke my wrist on several occasions as a little boy while playing basketball.

The most recurring injury that I have always been experiencing when I was actively playing football was ankle injury. This made it very difficult for me to play aggressively because once my ankle have been targeted, it is definitely going to pop out and that is going to take me more than 3 months before I will recover.

Yes, I have been trying to become injured while playing a sport; it was a football game. However, the pain and hurt I encountered has been happily replaced with too much happiness when I won the game and received some cash as my prizes.
