Haver you ever experienced a near death experience? Like one of those things where you nearly see your life end, and maybe even see your life before your eyes. I haven't been in one myself and I hope I never have to. What about you guys though, have you ever been in a near death experience? What happened? Did you recover fine?

I have been in a near-death experience a few times myself.

My first time was when I was around one year old, I had a seizure due to getting too warm and ended up in the hospital getting checked for meningitis.

I also had a near-death experience when my eldest got stuck during childbirth and I ended up having to have an emergency caesarean.

The next time was when I had my 3rd child, he managed to get the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck and as I was pushing it was pulling which caused me to bleed badly.

My final time was after I had my gallbladder removed, one of the incisions was in a weird place and it opened and left me bleeding badly, my brother said the colour in my face went grey and he was scared for me but luckily I was able to get help.

I have never been in any near death experience. I can imagine how dreadful it's going to be for anyone who had such experience because just watching it in movies or coming across accident crash site IRL looks frightening. The victims will be traumatized.

I have been in accidents a couple of times but I wouldn't consider any of them to being a near death experience. I had a few injuries from but it's nothing too serious. I just needed a few weeks to hear from the scratches and bruises. I never broke any bone. If that had happen, then it's going to be too serious.

Yes, I have had a near death experience oh and it was very close, it was some years back and I was in a spat with someone over a property and my house was checked for me but lucky it was my neighbor that was in my house

You've been through a lot, I'm sorry that happened to you. Childbirth can be a scary thing. The Gallbladder is nothing to mess with either, hear people are prone to death if a gallbladder were to ever explode.

I'm glad it all went well for you though.

Yeah. I almost drowned in a river once. I literally lost hope. Everything was getting dark in front of my eyes and suddenly one of my uncles noticed it and took me out of water. It was like touching death and returning back to life.

Damn, this is going to be very creepy for you and I'm very sure that you're not going to interested in getting into any kind of water. My sister had the same experience with swimming pool once and till today, she's never been in any pool. Even if it's a pool below her waist level, she's never getting into it.

I have had only one experience as a child when I gave myself a strong blow to the head and I was almost all day unconscious, I fell from a swing of about two meters and I hit my head, I do not think it was enough to be a near-death experience, but I was quite bad all that day, luckily nothing else happened.

Wow, childbirths are always dangerous, thank goodness everything went well and you and your children could be saved, something similar happened to my mother in childbirth with me and with my older brother too, the risks in any birth are too high.

Yeah. I stay away from water bodies. :ROFLMAO: But I don't mind boating though.

You mean like being in boating in form of sailing in sports or just for recreational activities? Well, as long as you are wearing your life jacket, there's nothing much to worry about in case anything happens.

Ps. You should just try and see if it's possible to beat the phobia and actually learn how to swim.

Boating for recreational activities. Just a calm sweet and slow 5 10 minute boating hehe.

Yeah I'll swimming for sure. But I'm not getting enough time. 😅

If this is the way you are enjoying the boating, then I believe that there is nothing for you to worry about because there is nothing that's most likely going to happen whenever you are going slow. It's only when you are speeding too much that you might lose control and find yourself inside the water.

I had such a case when I was 8 years old, I didn't know how to cross the road very well, so I somehow jumped out at the pedestrian crossing without making sure that there were no cars, but it turned out that there was one at high speed and I was very lucky that the driver was a professional and he managed to pass me without hitting me
