My aunt recently just moved to an estate, the estate have 68 residents living in it but lack a supermarket in it and because of this my aunt wants to build a mart shop in the estate.

The issue is there is no building for that type of business in the estate. I suggested she buys a container and put it Infront of the house or rent another building in the estate and turn it into a supermarket.

What do you guys think?

Supermarket or shopping mall is one of those necessary things needed in an estate but most estate investor doesn't look at.if she is looking at a mini Mart, container is okay.

She can look for another house in the estate and rent it for the business as the business is a very profitable. Supermarkets are very essential for an estate as real Estate dwellers hardly go out of the estate.

Look for a good place that is very ideal to the public. A place that is accessible and easy to find. Supermarket business will surely a big hit since this is essential to the people. Container may be small but that still depends on the volume of your goods to sell.

Sounds like a good idea, however you said there are only 68 residents, do you mean individual resident or 68 families, if you mean 68 individual residents, we'll I don't think there will be much profit from that type of business.

I think you just gave your aunt the best advice she needs to follow. She can juts get started by using container in front of her house since their is no building she can sell the products from in the supermarket at the moment. Just tell her to start small and from there she can later on expand to other areas in the estate.

Your must have a very good eye for seeking out opportunities around her. That is really really commendable. With such establishment of that kind of business idea, she not only will good money but make others than her in their hearts for what she had done in bringing stuffs they need closer to them.

68 resident houses but each house have its own boys quarters and each family may contain 3-7 family members.

Yeah thank you. The state is expanding cos they are thinking of starting another project this year which I think will be done before the end of this year, they are trying to build 147 more houses into the estate, so I think it will be a great business once the houses are completed.

Established in January 2000, The Property Supermarket has developed into one of Hartlepool's leading Property Management Companies.

Let her continue with her plan. Putting container or renting a shop will limit her scope. Let her start big since there is market for her already. She will soon realize her initial capital with that market already in placed for her.

estate supermarket is a very good option in making profits or income but most estate managers do not take it to be that rather they prefer investing in housing most times.if a well structured supermarket is built within an estate this will give it a super dope structure that capture people attention

Constructing a container for the supermarket in such an environment won't be attractive to the caliber of people living there. I think the right thing is to rent an estate for the business.
How your aunty should bear in mind that such business demands a lot of capital.

It is better she look for another place or look for container, since there is no market around for now she can start with small before can expand it, but she should bear in mind that such business require a lot of capital.

Investing in a lending business allows you loan money to individuals for different purposes. Before now, lending used to be an investment option only available to the banks. However, things are changing and with the rise of lending platforms like Lendsqr, people can invest in consumer loans as well.

Platforms like Lendsqr provides individuals (who want to run a lending business but do not have the capital to build the technology for themselves) with a sophisticated and easy to use digital lending technology needed to run a consumer lending business.

Yeah it is a nice Business idea if she can pull it out successfully, but she should ask for permission from necessary agencies within the estate before setting it up, that kind of thing may or may not be allowed in the estate.

Looking at how profitable the business of a supermarket in estate is, I would say it is more profitable even than supermarket located elsewhere outside the estate, considering the caliber of people staying in an estate, this will increase sales and demand for goods available and in return bring more profits

Owning a supermarket in an estate hits differently from just owning one anywhere. The estate will most likely depend on you for survival and any quick purchase they need to make. You could even enjoy a monopoly and that would mean a life changer for you because you will win.

Supermarket Income’s current portfolio comprises sites occupied by Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons supermarket stores.
The company was set up by an ex-Goldman Sachs pair, Ben Green and Steve Windsor, who used to work with supermarkets to sell and lease back stores, carrying out several billion pounds worth of deals over the years.

That's a good initiate there man, you proof that you are visionary and have a business sense. It will be good if your aunt can ack fast on the idea you have her. The reason is that other Poeple might be thinking of the same thing and established the Mart before her. If your sister start this business it will add to her stream of income.

Free-standing or strata supermarkets have historically been tightly held, but some owners are now selectively divesting assets to capitalise on the strong demand for the defensive assets.
