Establishing on eBay

A question for anybody who has had a success on eBay previously... how did you become established on eBay?

It seems like just pure luck in a sense as to who becomes a "big" eBay seller... I have access to a lot of products, a lot of listings, and my prices are absolutely competitive with the rest of the market, but my sales are so slow it's almost like a trickle.

Does anybody have any tips and hints for establishing yourself on eBay? I hear stories of people creating eBay businesses with £100 and being millionaires within a few years... is it just that the eBay market is so saturated now that it's too competitive and not worth doing anymore, or am I doing something wrong?

I have not sold anything on eBay so I am not the one to be giving tips on how to become successful on eBay but based on my experience selling online I can say becoming successful is not "luck" it is hard work and skills. You need SEO skills so that your products appear when some one searches for the product. You need digital marketing skills to promote your products on site and off site.
