Empty Appalachia

Here is a video about where I'm from. It makes it seem like nobody lives there, lol. Well, it seemed to me like what I saw in rural Minnesota was way more empty.

A lot of it is mountains, which makes it hard to live there

But I have heard of a lot of people moving to places like Nashville TN or Chattanooga TN from more expensive places, and those cities are rapidly gentrifying

Nashville has no mountains.

Yeah, the rich are even buying up this mountain valley where I lived. They're not really rich, but maybe upper middle class. Anyway, it's becoming a place foreign to the locals.
