Hi,
My question is about email servers rather than web hosting. For the record, I am far from being an email expertMy business is currently using POP3 for emails, but myself and my employees often move around for work. This results in us using a variety of IP addresses, some of which have been blacklisted by certain spam blacklists. I have found this out by checking the IP address contained in the email headers from various places. As a result, we know that some emails are getting caught in people's spam folders and not seen as often.If we send out any mass emails, it's through MailChimp. The maximum number of people usually included in individual emails through POP3 are 4-5. Most of our emails are between 1 sender and 1-2 recipients.I have a few questions:
1) My hosting uses secure SMTP to send emails and has an SPF record included, but I guess this doesn't really help when sending emails via POP3 from different IP addresses, unless I update it to include the IP addresses frequently. Is that a correct?2) I've looked into the possibility of getting email hosting, such as Exchange, which I have found fairly cheap through certain companies (3 - 4 per user per month). Assuming the IP address for the email server is clean, would this give our emails more chance of getting through?3) Is getting Exchange email hosting the best solution, or are there other things I can do that I'm completely missing?
