I must be honest as a hardcore die fan of Harry Potter that movie duel is nothing special. Okay, special effects are cool but it is almost nothing like what it happened in the book.
SPOILERS
In the books, Voldemort is focused on killing Harry rather than Albus. He is casting killing curses everywhere while Albus is moving statues to cover Harry and block the attacks by shattering the statues. At some point, Voldemort begins focusing Albus and he does so in such way that he vanishes from one side to another targeting him from everywhere. There was an important when voldemort sent fire on albus, blinked behind him and casted killing curse on him BUT phoenix appeared and saved albus's life which is something important to realize. He would have died if there wasn't a bird and he had an elder wand. That speaks itself how powefull is voldemort.
