Does your forum have age limit for registration?

I have seen some forums where all members must consent to be above the age of 13 or 14 years before they are allowed to register on the forum. Although, there's no way to confirm they are actually up to that age but for record purposes.

While I have seen forums where you're not asked about your age and your registration will be completed without any hitches.

How do you go about age limit on your forum?

I have 13 years minimum age requirement. I made this rule because most of the online sites, including facebook and google requires users to be at least 13 years of age before you can use their services.

There should age requirement for registration on forums because they need quality post not trash posts. Also the minimum age should be 18 because I believe such person will be matured enough to think like adults.

I would not accept people of all ages on my forum, as it contravenes the rules and regulations of some countries and I would not want my site to be flag off in such countries.

I have be working on different post to pay forums sites but I do not observe well to know wether there is any that have any age limit before you can start working with them.

you should read the terms and conditions before embarking on any platform as there is age restrictions in most of the forums. you can not let minors by law to be in some certain discussions.

Well you are right but it is not all the terms and conditions that registration age limit is there. Though I know that it is when you are suppose register that such age limit suppose to appear.

It depends on the contents and niche of the sites. But I think harmless sites like conventional paid to post forums should be open to 13 year olds up. At least, that age is the beginning of teenage and the start of the departure from childhood.

i think that some forum owners allow teenagers to join the forum. They have an age limit of 13 years. However, some websites and forum owners require a person to be 18 years or older.

Actually no. and I haven't comes across any platform or forums that requires age or has any age limitation at the cost of registration.

Though it requires someone who can give them what they want in performing the various task that will be assigned.

Most forums usually have age limits so as not to allow minors in their midst. If we are being sincere what does a child of 14 years old know yet to allow them on forums?

It depends on the owner. Everybody has its own reason for doing things. In most of all sites I Know, they don't set age limits. They allowed everybody that have interest to join their platforms. Age limit shouldn't be a much concern.
