Does religion cause more harm than good?

First and foremost, I don't really like getting into religious discussions because most of the time, it doesn't end well but let me try and add something in this one.

I would actually say that Christianity is the most peaceful religion in the world. I can't say the same thing for Islamic religion. A lot of violent acts have been carried out by Muslims all in the name of their religion. Most terrorist cells are all Muslims.
I also do not like getting into religious discussions because when it comes to religion a lot of people get too violent. However, I would like to put some facts here. Every religion has a violent past. Some of the biggest wars have been fought in the name of the Bible and the Quran.

Yeah, that's very correct. I'm even taking it closer to what is happening in our world today. Forget about what happened ages ago, look at what's going on now. When was the last time a Christian bombed anywhere because they want people to heed their religion? More than 90% of bombing all in the name of religion have been carried out by Islamic religion Muslims.

Unfortunately my answer would be yes it does more harm than good.
A relgion is not human as I see it because it forces us to do certain things and act in certain ways and not just that people can abuse it and lie for example a priest can ask for money and say god asks and meanwhile he just steals people's money for himself.
Moreover religion causes wars and unagreements between people it causes unneeded hatered and that's the opposite of peace.. it forces people and the people force others to be religious. Those are it's cons.
