Does Kissing Ass Make Sales?

Sorry for the foul language, but I didn't know how else to put it. But what do you think? Does sucking up to a client help you make sales?

I try to make every client I get happy, but sometimes they are a bit pushy with time and such. At first I used to suck up to them, but I felt like I was being taken advantage of. For a couple weeks now, I've started putting my foot down and I've started making more sales.

So, what do you think? Should you suck up to a client, or should you set your own boundaries and only deliver whats promised?

Yes and No, it all depends of the person. But most of the time you just need to be friendly and offer them what they need. Kissing up to someone might change it slightly but I am not sure.
