Do you use URL shorteners on your website?

There are often times on your website where you will have to have other links on the site as well and that can be a good thing because it means that people will use your site as a halfway house to their redirecting site and this could help you with traffic. When you have other websites on your site do you use a URL shortener in order to try and make some additional revenue that way?

I don't believe I ever have. The only time I will use shortened URLs is when I am sharing them on social platforms. So one example would be for a blog I have. I use a plugin that shortens the URL for Twitter to auto-post posts for me every day with set hashtags.

Having it on social media can be a very good thing because there is a lot of traffic that generally goes through the social media sites and therefore you should be able to earn quite a bit depending on the tier of viewers.

It takes time but it is possible. I find short links to be the best though. It keeps the tweet nice and short. If you use links that have a lot of text to them on top of having a long tweet, it is less likely to get clicks.

That is true, however when people have to go through all the ads and wait out those time limits on a shortener it can be quite annoying and they are likely to just close the site.

I guess it depends on what you are posting. I have had no issues with short links but I have seen somewhere they just bog down speed on a site and people flag them as spam on Twitter because they believe them to be malicious links.

The Internet speed on any specific website is very important because there is a lot of people that I actually utilising various website platforms however they do not have the necessary data capabilities in order to load it at very high speeds and therefore it needs to be accessible to everyone around the world no matter the internet speed that they have.

I am talking specifically about load time though and using short-links doesn't really affect that in most cases. You would find speed issues more from using outdated software or poor ad placement if anything.

Yes I do specially on my social media pages as it is easy to copy them and can be easily track your links which will gives you valuable information so you can run your campaign.

I do understand what you are saying and if you do have a poor and outdated software then it is likely going to result in slow operating and loading times as well which is going to be very frustrating for the person that is actually using the website.

I don't see why I should be using url shortener for my website. I can just share my website link wherever I want. As far as using a paid url shortener is concerned, visitors are redirected multiple times before they reach your website, therefore, you might lose traffic the middle way, so using url shortener, especially paying ones is not good.
