I know some site and blog owners don't have their own commenting sections, some will use services like Disqus instead so that they can better control who comments. I have used Disqus in the past and use it for a lot of sites. It's great if you don't want to see tons of spam, but some spam still gets through.

Do you like to use Disqus for your comments? Or do you have your own comment system where anyone can comment as long as they have a valid email?

No, I have never used comment services like disqus, I have not even implemented social media commenting option where users can comment through social sites Twitter and Facebook. I respect anonymity of my commentators, therefore, I do not use any kind of commenting services.

Thats fair, keeping your users privacy in mind is awesome. I believe you can make settings in Disqus to allow comments from anyone. I know you can create an account on Disqus to comment on other sites too. But I think some sites allow you to sign in or just put a name and email.

I respect your choice.

If you're using Disqus and still encountering spam, you might consider retro bowl adjusting the moderation settings, using additional spam filtering tools, or exploring other commenting system options to better suit your needs.
