Do you use a laptop mouse or do you use a touchpad?

Once I had a computer, it is clear that I only used a mouse, but when I bought a laptop, I first used only a touchpad, because it is compact, it does not take up additional space, and you can just take the laptop with you to the cafe in your hands. But over time, when I compared the speed of work with the touchpad and the mouse, I realized how much more time the touchpad takes. And how do you use your laptop?

Laptop mouse are faster but they are an extra load but touchpad are simpler and compact because they are in the laptop but it takes much time while using it.

If I am sitting at a place with larger space, I make use of the mouse. I can use both depending on what I am doing and how faster I want the work to be done.
