Staff shouldn't ignore.

Staff should be able to have decretion to take action.

A forum that doesn't give their staff that trust is no forum I'd want to be a part of.

On some of the really huge forums, there are enough staff members that if one person has a problem with another, there are plenty left to monitor. It should be okay for him/her to ignore that person in that case. I've seen people on forums who simply cannot get along and it's better for everyone all around if they just don't interact.

I just think the owner needs to step in and control the drama at that point.

I blame the owner of the forum more than anything else in that case.

Urban75 have a mutual ignore rule where if the members incompatible with each other quote, reply, refer to the said member in any way, they get their account warned.

What exactly that means:

Urban75 have a mutual ignore rule where if the members incompatible with each other quote, reply, refer to the said member in any way, they get their account warned.

I had to hover over AI to see whether you'd tagged the member to refer to them, or were talking about artificial intelligence
