Do you think you would make a good moderator?

Base on what I have seen in the paid to post site that I am in , I know how to manage a forum especially against spammers who post trash just to make money

I personally don't think I could do it as I don't have the right qualities, I'm far too impatient and a little quick tempered. Do you think you could do it?
Well.... I should be able to... But i need to try it first before boosting of it... Am not that strict and at same time i don't take nonsense...

I don't have the experience nor the time to be a good moderator. I am always ready to help people or programs grow but not fully committed to it. Probably I can be assigned to a section of the forum to help with something

I can become a good moderator in a casino site if I have gotten an opportunity. I may fail as a moderator in a forum site though. I like to chat about luck and gambling , so casino site would suite me.

Lol being a moderator is quite difficult, it requires good listening skills, low temper. Its basically would need all customer service skills. I think I'd be good with it

To make a good moderator is not easy, a moderator must be able to enforce forum rules, even though he doesn't need a university degree, he must first be active, be familiar with the ins and outs of the forum site he oversees, must be wise, friendly, not favoritism, can solve problems that are faced by users, can respond to user complaints patiently.

Being a one-man army, running my own website. I assume the responsibility of the moderator as well. I have a pleasant personality and am very patient. I hear the queries of my members and try to resolve them to my maximum capability. The most important quality of a moderator is his willingness to help others. If you can do that, then you can be a great moderator.

I think that i could have done it last year as i did have the time throughout the day in order to be active and moderate on a forum however right now time is really a problem for me.

Since my last comment, I have had a pretty good experience as a moderator. I have bene moderator on a newly established forum with a couple of members as well as established forums with thousands of users. Sometimes the job cna be tough

I do not have extensive experience as a moderator, but at Bizdustry I was given the opportunity and I am very happy, I think my performance has been decent and I continue to learn daily, it is a learning process that does not stop as in almost all jobs.

There's always a first time for everything. I can remember my first time when I was given the opportunity to work as a moderator in a forum. I was very happy about it. Today, I have worked as a moderator in more than 7 different forums and administrator in 2 forums.

I've been a moderator at many forums, and have done my fair share of moderating over the years. From my own forums, to running another sites forum years ago. I have kinda done it all in terms of moderating. I made a good mod, but I wasn't a fan of having to delete bad posts or topics.

Those are quite a few forums, you have quite a bit of experience so you will have dealt with all types of users and problems, at the end of the day experience is what makes you good or not at a certain job, and you have that experience.

Exactly! There's nothing that I would that I haven't seen in forum moderation. In this line of work, you get to meet different people with different behaviour and attitudes. It all opened my eyes more to know how difficult it is to manage human beings. It's been an incredible lessons so far and I'm still open to learning more.
