Do you still have carpets in the house?

My parents had a carpet in every room and they were big enough to even cover the whole room, but when I started living alone, the fashion for carpets passed and now it is more stylish when the floor is bare. And do you still have a carpet at home?

When we were growing up, we see those that have carpet as rich people and I guess we are one of them because we have carpet in our rooms. But now, I see carpet as something used for beautifying a room not as per people that are rich.

Nowadays, new buildings come with beautiful tiles on them which means that the era of carpet has passed.
