I don't see too many questions about this.

I have always gotten my health insurance through work. Usually, it is easier and cheaper, and you have more plans to choose from to make it right for your budget.

That being said, not all businesses or companies offer health insurance. If it is an option for you, would you rather get insurance through the company you work for or would you rather get it outside of the company on your own?

I agree with you. I think most people will prefer to get it through their jobs. This is because most of the incidents that might affect an individual can be traced to their workplaces.

Yup, that is another thing. It is far easier to get treatment and paid leave when your insurance is tied to the company. I know someone who had to fight in court when he was injured on the job and it took nearly 8 months before he got anything for it. It was a mess!

Most companies and organizations do not clauses that mandate them to cater for the welfare or treatment of staff who are injured or sick in the course of their duty and this is very bad.

There was a business that finally closed down for good in 2020 and it was down to more light being shed on them. Not only were they demanding people continue to work but they were not supply testing nor cleaning properly and a lot of people got covid as a result and they found loopholes to fire them over it. It ended up backfiring because a few people sued and won.

I think i would like to prefer the idea of going for an insurance of health from the place i work, because the company would be doing a good premium package for all its employees in the organisation.

A lot of health insurance that is signed up using the workplace usually have some kind of bonuses and that is exactly what I will advise people to choose as well.

This is true too. Many of them offer extra perks that wouldn't otherwise be available like savings accounts built in to the plans for longterm members.

Get your health insurance through work is the best because there are some bonuses and a lot of other things they will cover for you. Using your personal savings will not going with those kind of bonuses and benefits.

I do not like insurance at all. This is why I would opt to not get an insurance policy at all. I would prefer to make a system that would allow me to recover losses without insurance and have backup capital is the best way to do that.

I can't really understand why you don't fancy the idea of getting an insurance. It can really be helpful in recovering losses if something bad happens to your business or assets.

Well it depends on choice and how it's been given out. and sometimes the kind of work you are into. I will prefer to have my health insurance at work because that will be more cheaper to afford.

Well, except your workplace is not offering health insurance, I don't see any reason to get health insurance outside work. If you get it through workplace, there are many benefits you will enjoy. But if you workplace does not entangled themselves with health insurance, you have not option than to apply for it on your own.

I prefer to get my health insurance through work. I understand that some people may disagree with me, but I would argue that it's because we're looking at this from different angles. For example, if you get your health insurance outside of work, you are likely to have a higher deductible and may not see the same doctors as your coworkers.
But if you get your health insurance through work, you can see the same doctors as your coworkers and have lower deductibles because they have negotiated a better rate with the insurance company (group pricing).
Most employers offer incentives for employees who participate in wellness programs, which can include everything from discounted gym memberships to reduced co-pays. This can be particularly helpful for people who don't have much money or otherwise aren't able to afford these things on their own.

There are a lot of benefits attached to getting a health insurance from your plan of work than gettiing it outside work , i believe you will get a lower deduction rather than the outside health insurance that takes more money.

Well it depends but I will advise you make the right choice depending on the nature and status of your job. personally I will prefer outside my job because it will be less expensive compared to.

There are a few things to consider when considering whether to get health insurance through your employer or get it on your own. The first thing to consider is the cost. Often, employer-sponsored health insurance is cheaper than buying your own health insurance because employers can get group rates. However, this is not always the case, so comparing prices is important. The second thing to consider is the coverage. Employer-sponsored health insurance typically offers more comprehensive coverage, like Best Medigap Plans for 2023, than individual health insurance plans. So, if you have a family or a lot of health needs, employer-sponsored health insurance might be a better option.

There are many advantages to purchasing health insurance via your employer rather than doing it on your own. I think you will also receive a lower tax deduction than if you purchased health insurance on your own, which costs more.

I prefer getting my health insurance scheme card tnrough my work place rather than getting but somewhere else , because it will be cheaper , faster and affordable with me .

The only reason I'll prefer it through my workplace will be for the perk of standing debit orders. Paying personally every month might not be so adhered to by me - I could find myself default one way or the other.
