Do you prefer squares or circles for forum avatar?

Of course, with Theme House themes, at least, you can even choose diamonds and a few other shapes, I think. Anyway, it seems like for XenForo, circles are the stylish thing. Is this what people like or is it forced on them?

I prefer unique set of avatars that users can choose from if they don't prefer to upload one.

I have no particular preference for an avatar, circle, or square, I am fine with any size. On some of my forums, avatars are circle, and some forums display square avatars. Avatars are important, however, I don't mind what share they are.

My forum is using circle avatar shape. It's what most forums I've been using have. It was why I had to adopt the same thing. If you looked at what Bizdustry is using, it's a circle shape for avatar too. I had to check it now to confirm it 😁.

I used to only ever like squares because it was easier to work with in terms of pictures and avatar placement but I have gotten used to circles having spent more time on here and other forums and have since changed mine to be circles as well.
