There is a lot of experience and expertise that is required in order to be able to run a site and that is especially true when you have to start considering the different types of security measures that have to take place. Do you tend to outsource the security that you have for your site and does this increase the risk to bring in external people for your site?

I use Lets Encrypto SSL on some of my forums. My web host does not provide support to Let's Encrypt, therefore, everything the cetificate needs renewal, I will have to hire someone to do it for me. I do not have skills to do it myself

Never had a reason to do so. I run all my sites on my own servers and make use of tools to keep them secure. I have never had an issues with attacks.
