Offering of free trails in businesses is one of the best strategies to influence the decision making of your customers as long as the products gives them a great value. Most businesses make use of this strategy today in their business marketing and it's really paying off.

Have you ever considered offering products free trails in your business?

I do not offer free trials, I sell digital products and services, and people can order from me only after they are convinced with my product. Over the years I have built a reputation. Therefore, I do not offer any free trials.

Free trials are usually offered by many software development companies. This is to make sure that the customers find the software nice before they could decide to purchase it. I am not sure if other companies offer free trials when it comes to physical items, though.

When I started doing forum posting back on Fiverr, I would often offer a 5 post package where I would do 5 free posts to show what I was capable of. But I changed that later to showing post samples.

Same with me I don't offer free trail I use to sell my own tooth care products online and I will only do the write up to convince people to buy my item so for this people see my article which I wrote about the product if they are convinced they can buy my item I dont offer free trials

Yes, that's very smart way to go about it especially when you're new in the work pool. You need to show what you're capable of doing and once you have the reputation, there's no point in offering free trails. You can decide to offer discounts to improve sales.

Sure, offering free trials in business is a smart strategy to influence customers' decision-making. You should actually use it when your product is new to the market. It allows them to experience the product's value firsthand, building trust and confidence. Many businesses use this tactic in their marketing efforts, and it's proving to be effective.

Personally, I've considered offering free trials in my business to let potential customers experience what my product offers. It's essential to ensure the trial period is long enough for users to understand the product. When done right, offering free trials can pay off big time in the long run, attracting and retaining customers.

I would definitely offer free trials when it comes to offering any kind of product and I guess this is how companies offer free samples in order to make customers get attracted to the product and even collect some feedback about the product.

If your business is new, it's paramount to offer free trials as long as your products or services is something a free trial can be given out on. Remember all the customers in the market have whom they were buying from before you entered the market. Offering them a free trial will convince them to give your product a try.

At the moment, in my business I offer a writing service, because of this I don't offer free trials but I have in the past been able to offer events where I do a small sale for a short amount of time.

Sometimes this goes well and other times, I don't get any custom, it varies.

I have also offered writing services as well. I have worked as an ESL writer. When it comes to working as a writer, you may not be able to offer free trials. However, you can certainly offer free samples of your past work. This is what I used to do in order to make my client realise what kind of services i tend to offer.

I never offered free trials when I started working online as a freelancer especially in my paid posting services. But something I did which was similar with offering free trail especially to a client who's skeptical of my service quality is to ask you to pay 50% of my service fee and I will do 10% of the job for him to confirm. If it's good, he's going to complete the other 50% of the pay before I resume the work.

We have some things where I work that are offered for free but very few. We tend to have more so a 50% policy where if things go wrong on our end, you get 50% of what you paid back.

Some customers will not agree to this kind of policy especially when whatever went wrong with the product that they purchased was from your end which means that you're supposed to shoulder the burden of the whole cost of the products. If the fault is from them, it's when you can decide to offer them 50% return.

I don't have that feature in my own business. The thing is that I offer digital service to clients and it would be unwise to do that because they'd go spread the word that you offer your services for free and when you start asking for money, you'd be deserted.

Since I started my writing services online, I have never put myself in a situation whereby I am going to offer a free trial to any of my clients because I don't see it as something that is feasible for me to do but what I can do is to show you sample of the work that I've done for the previous client and if you're satisfied with it, I'm going to work on your own job.

I do not think that freelancers should always offer free trials. For example, if I am working on a freelancing website, then the customer may ask for free samples. I may be able to offer them so that the customer may get an idea about my writing skills. However, I may not create a sample specifically for the customer because it does not make sense.

This is true with me. As long as I am sure that I have the ability to deliver a sound work to you, there is no need of giving a free trail to convince you. We can set up a smaller order and once you are comfortable with it, then going into long-term business with you won't be an issue.

All my work samples are free of charge. It's not like I'm doing a new free job to get the order. I give any of my potential clients my free samples if they want it in order to know that I'm capable of doing the job they want to hire me to do. But if my samples isn't good enough for them that they will demand work trial, I will never accept it.

I have also offered free freelancing samples to my clients in the past and I think that this is the best way to make a customer realise what you are capable of doing. However, offering free trials is a bit hard when you conduct business online.
