Do You Listen to Adele?

Adele is an English singer and songwriter. Her music is classified as Pop and Soul. Adele is one of the few modern singers that I like listening to. Some of my favorite songs from Adele are Someone Like You, Set Fire to the Rain, When WE Were Young, Hello, etc. She is one of the best-selling music artists in contemporary times. Do you like listening to Afdele? What's your favorite song from this singer?

This is my favourite song by Adele. I've been playing the song on repeat for days. Her voice is so lovely!

I have listened to some of Adele's songs in the past. I do enjoy her songs but wouldn't say I am a huge fan of Adele.

Her voice is amazing though and it shows through her music and performances.

No, she's overrated although I respect the way she is all about the music rather than image.

Very little product post 1980 is worth listening to anyway.

Sorry but I don't listen to anything bluesy, so anything about blues, soul, jazz, R&B and gospel, I don't listen to that music. This even includes west coast hip hop.

Even the more commercial stuff like neo-soul, acid jazz and neo-jazz, where they combine it with another genre (typically trip hop), I don't like that either. I find it ironic as trip hop is my favourite genre.

In the UK, a lot of soul, jazz and gospel singers have had to move abroad to America as there isn't as much of a market demand (or potential customer base) for those genres over here, than there is over there. So with that said, given how Adele is british and is signed to an independent british record label, I could understand the inevitable genre purists who will be complaining on forums and twitter, that Adele isn't 100% soul, much like how the D&B purists complained that Pendulum wasn't a drum and bass purist since their second album In Silico.

Occasionally, and I think she is one of the better 'modern' artists, but I never got massively into her.

I've never been a fan of her music. I worked at Walmart in the 2010's when she was super popular, so I had to hear her music quite often. I also never got the lyrics to one of her songs, how does one set fire to the rain? :V
