Learning how to skate was difficult for me growing up. I struggled so much at it to the extent I began reasoning I wasn't meant to know how to do it. I can't remember how many times I fell down but eventually learnt how to do it.

I did half ass learn how to skate when I was 10 years old. I got into roller skating too. But by the time I was 11 I had given both up and cannot skate now.

I know how to roller skate but I don't know how to ice skate. My friend taught me how to roller skate when I was 8-9 years old. I remember her letting me borrow her spare roller skates to learn how to skate before I bought my own pair.
I can still roller skate now and want to go to a roller disco with friends at some point this year.
