Power users are members who engage a lot. They post a lot. They're really helpful. They're loyal to your community.

Does your community have these types of members?

In what way do you feel they are power users?

What are you doing above and beyond to keep these members dedicated to your community? How are you rewarding them?

I have some power users on Christianity Haven, and they keep doing what they do because they love the site. They love how lenient the mods are and how easily most of the members get along with one another. There's not much I can do in the way of rewarding them except to give them the honor of Valued Contributor. Which reminds me, the owner was supposed to bestow that on a member and it hasn't happened yet...

I also think including them in new feature ideas is a good idea.

Make them part of the community decision-making process.

Give them a chance to vote or even just give feedback that could turn a great idea into an even better idea.
