Do you have a support team for your site?

You need support for your site when your site is selling products and services, if your site is make money site, if your site is a community and has a lot of members and activities, and if your site receives a lot of support queries. Otherwise, you can easily handle your website without any support staff.

I only have me and myself at this time and have been flying solo for years now. I did put up staff applications on another site, but no one seemed to take any interest. It's hard to find staff members for certain boards these days unless you offer them some great incentives.

The owner of the site should have a functional contact page. When I say functional, I mean the email does not bounce back and the admin actually reads the email and answers back.

This is right. The site owner being able to respond to emails and complaints make the whole process quite easy to handle. I wouldn't want to be on a site where I will struggle to catch up with the site owner when I need to sort out one issue or another relating to the site.
