Do you have a pet?

I have a cat named Gizmo! My spouse and I recently filled out a application to adopt another cat from our local shelter. We're still waiting for a response back from the shelter, hopefully it won't be much longer before we can visit the three cats we've got narrowed down. Gizmo is about 15 years old and we want to get a younger cat for him so he can have a friend to live out his golden years with. This is Gizmo:

Yes, I have a Guinea Pig called Alvin.
He is a fluffy ginger-haired Guinea Pig. I've had him since he was born but Alvin's mum and dad, Simba the Guinea Pig and Narla the Guinea Pig, passed away at the start of the year and my white albino Guinea Pig, Britany, passed away in August last year.

The dog at the top of the picture had to be put down several months ago due to kidney failure. She was suffering, so may her soul rest in peace.
